Bring food item to free family skate
Richmond Hill
November 27, 2008 10:07 PM

Join Rogers Cable and The Liberal for a good time and a good cause at the annual Charity Skate in Richmond Hill this Sunday. Admission is free and skaters can look forward to lots of family fun and entertainment with clowns on the ice and prizes.

The free skate is made possible through a $2,000 donation from Rogers. However, participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items or cash donations for the Richmond Hill Food Bank.

The goal is to collect 500 pounds of non-perishables for those who rely on the food bank this holiday. Participants who bring a donation will receive a coupon for refreshments.

It’s all happening Sunday, Nov. 30, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Tom Graham Arena on Elgin Mills Road East.
