The Cantabile Chorale of York Region is presenting a seasonal concert The Joy of Christmas Monday, Dec. 8 and will be ‘singing for their supper’.
Well, not actually for their supper, but the ‘entry fee’ to the concert is a food bank donation, so the concert will help put food on the tables of less fortunate families this season.
Robert Richardson is the conductor, director and founder of the chorale, which has been singing and entertaining for 35 years.
Lona Richardson will be the accompanist for the concert and guests Song of Songs Trio will also be featured.
There will be seasonal refreshments to follow the Dec. 8 concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at Thornhill United Church (Elgin Street at Dudley Avenue) in Thornhill.
Entry will be granted by a non-perishable food bank donation, with a goodwill offering collected during the concert, as well.
