If you’re a student in your last year of high school and active in environmental issues, you could be in line for a $5,000 scholarship.
The Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program offers 15 scholarships to students planning on attending college or university.
Students from all walks of life, regardless of their preferred program of study, are encouraged to apply.
One exceptional student, chosen from the 15 regional scholarship winners, will also get the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship National Award and a Panasonic notebook computer.
So far, $350 000 has been awarded to 70 young Canadians through the program.
