Speed skaters turn on Jets at Western Regional meet

Three members of the Newmarket Jets turned in second-place showings at the second Western Regional speed skating meet Saturday at Herb Carnegie Arena in North York.

Bantam Tia Lee, Taylor Simpson in midget and intermediate John Grant finished second in their respective divisions to highlight the performances of 14 Jets competing at the event.
