The Stouffville atom AE Clippers were fit to be tied in their two recent Ontario Minor Hockey Association contests.

Playing in Barrie last week against the host hometown Colts, the Clippers overcame a one-goal deficit in the waning moments with their goalkeeper pulled in favour of an extra attacker to score and earn a 2-2 tie.

Cole Gunathunge scored the game-tying marker and assisted on the first goal by Robbie Krawczuk.

Cole Miller and Brody Krabi earned assists on Gunathunge’s marker.

In a game against East Gwillimbury last Saturday, the Clippers received a two-goal, two-assist effort from Gunathunge in a 4-4 tie.

Krawczuk and Stone McCaulay accounted for the other Clippers’ goals.

With the ties, the Clippers sport a 7-6-4 record.
