York Regional Police continue to investigate a bank robbery in Georgina on Monday.

At about 1:15 p.m., the suspect, wearing a disguise, went into Scotiabank at 114 High St.

He indicated to the teller he had a weapon, but none was seen.

He was able to getaway with an undisclosed amount of cash and a customer who had just withdrawn money.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on High Street to a waiting vehicle on Market Street, driven by a second suspect.

The vehicle headed north on Market Street.

The vehicle was described as a small, white, compact car, possibly a two-door.

None of the victims were injured in this incident.
 
The first suspect is described as male, white, 18 to 25 years of age.

He is believed to be five-feet, nine-inches to six-feet tall with a thin to medium build.

He was wearing a distinctive ENYCE-brand grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, gloves with a scarf covering his face and wearing sunglasses.

The description is sketchy for the second suspect. He was described only as being male and white.
