Fred Robbins was the first individual to cross the finish line in last Sunday’s inaugural Mill 5 Run at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area.

The Stouffville resident completed the 5K event in a time of 19:27.

Stefano Arena of Mount Albert was second at 19:55.

Tania Jones was the first female runner to cross the finish line and was third overall at 20:16.Alex Palmero of Markham was fourth at 20:46.

There were 62 entrants in the 5K run.

In the 5K walk, Neil Ornstein of Toronto was the first contestant to cross the finish line in 41:24.

Proceeds from the event went to the Conservation Foundation of Greater Toronto.
