Now is the time to register for all leisure programs at the Lebovic Leisure Centre in Stouffville.
That’s because community, lifestyle and aquatic programs start Monday.
Register in person at the centre, at 30 Burkholder St.
Space is still available in many classes. However, if a class is filled, don’t hesitate to sign up on a waiting list. New times and classes can be arranged if enough people are interested.
Staff have noticed more new residents, from a variety of backgrounds, are coming to check out the leisure centre. Registration is up around 15 to 20 per cent over last year in many of the programs. A good number of them are people who have signed up for the first time.
If you’re looking ahead to the spring session, watch for the availability of Internet registration. It will begin early in March for spring programs.
The leisure centre, is open 97 hours each week. From Monday to Thursday, hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
