You can check out local talent this afternoon.
Several Stouffville performers will hit the stage in the Lions Picnic Shelter in downtown Stouffville’s Memorial Park during Music in the Park from 2 to 4:40 p.m.
The music begins with seven-year-old Brielle Musto from Stouffville singing O Canada and other songs from 2 to 2:10 p.m.
Other performers are:
At 2:10 to 2:40 p.m. students and teachers from Stouffville’s We Rock school of music
2:40 - 3:05 p.m. Des McCann, a member of the Stouffville-based York Region Fingerstyle Guitar Association
From 3:05 - 3:40 p.m. Brian and Alison, a jazz/blues/Celtic duo
3:40 - 4:10 p.m. Erwin Schack, also a member of the York Region Fingerstyle Guitar Association
4:10 to 4:40 p.m. Marie-Lynn Hammond, Stouffville resident and co-founder of Stringband.
The master of ceremonies is Jim Priebe, from WhiStle Radio.
