Contemporary dance graduate Nicole Eliopoulos, 22, will see her big idea come full circle Friday. That’s when the months of hard work will be rolled out in a gala event billed as Big Art for Little Minds.
Ms Eliopoulos hopes to reach children around the world with the message to think outside their limited experiences in their own communities.
This will be accomplished, in part, with an evening packed with live performances and art, with participants ranging from sculptors, musicians and painters, to fashion designers, DJs and dancers.
Organizers hope the Nov. 14 event will help highlight and support Canadian artists and raise funds to help build wellness centres for children around the world.
Big Art for Little Minds takes place Friday, Nov. 14 at Paramount Event Venue, 222 Rowntree Dairy Rd. in Woodbridge. The gala begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes dinner. Tickets can be purchased online at
www.bigartforlittleminds.com or by calling 905-326-4318.
