One person was hospitalized following a crash this morning in Woodbridge.

The crash took place on Hwy. 7 near Martin Grove Road, when a car and tractor trailer collided at about 4:30 a.m., York Regional Police traffic bureau acting Staff Sgt. Brad Bulmer said.

Collision reconstruction officers remained at the scene and the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 7 had not been re-opened to traffic as of 10:30 a.m., police confirmed.

One man was transported to a Toronto hospital with very serious life threatening injuries.
