The Woodbridge Agricultural Society is painting the town green with its first Woodbridge Eco-Fair.

Vaughan and area residents have the opportunity to learn about being eco-conscious, by investigating products from the variety of environmentally-friendly vendors featured at the Eco-Fair.

Rain barrels are being sold for $30 on a first-come, first-served basis as a part of York Region’s Water for Tomorrow program.

The fair is also an outlet to safely dispose of old computer equipment through reBOOT Canada, a charity which refurbishes computers so they can be re-used.

The Woodbridge Eco-Fair is between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on May 24 at the Woodbridge Fair Grounds, at Kipling Ave. north of Hwy. 7.
