About 180 workers at the York Region Children’s Aid Society are on strike over a dispute regarding workloads and wages. The Ontario Public Service Employees Union rejected management’s latest offer last Thursday and talks collapsed Friday. The walkout could affect about 400 children and 1,000 open family cases.
