A Markham tot is the Markham Fair’s cutest baby.

About 100 babies up to 15 months old took part in the annual contest. Nine-month-old Emanuel Cappello, competing in the 9- to 12- month boy category wowed the judges with his big blue eyes and infectious smile, placing first in his division, his parents said.

The Grand Championship featured first place winners from each category. Emanuel again placed first.

Emanuel’s proud parents, are Joanna and George.
