Take your time, smell flowers in Aurora

Even if you don’t have a green thumb come on out and smell the flowers.

The Aurora Garden and Horticultural Society is holding its annual flower show at the Aurora Public Library.

As part of the organization’s mandate to educate the public about gardening, the Best of the Flowers event displays flowers cut from competitors’ own gardens.

There will be raffle prizes and admission is free.

The event is taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug 25 at the library on Church Street in Aurora.
